VIP START-UP BOOKING

As a VIP client, you’re getting first access to our winterization bookings.

Winter can be tough on pipes, fittings, and other components, especially if they weren’t properly winterized. A professional irrigation start-up is strongly recommended to ensure your system is running efficiently, is free from breaks or leaks that cause high water bills, and that your lawn and plants remain healthy for the upcoming season.

We recommend you book now, as our availability books up fast, and those who wait often can’t get an appointment until summer.

Our Victoria Sprinkler System Startup Process

There’s a reason we won the 2025 Better Business Bureau Torch Award for best irrigation company, and one of them is that we offer the most comprehensive irrigation startup service in Victoria. Here’s how we do it:

    • Step 1: Controlled System Startup

The first step is reintroducing water into your irrigation system and slowly filling the pipes with water. We do this slowly because the pressure from suddenly turning on the water can be enough to break your fittings.

Once the water has filled your pipes, we then turn the shut-off valve off and on again and listen for any running water as we do so. If we still hear water running, it’s a possible sign of a leak in your mainline or a stuck-on valve, which could cause water to flow continuously.

    • Step 2: System Inspections

Once your irrigation water is turned on, we inspect your entire system, zone by zone, checking for breaks, leaks, damaged components, clogged or broken sprinkler nozzles, kinked drip lines, wiring issues, pressure problems, water coverage, proper alignment, and more. Any minor issues are fixed on the spot, while larger issues are flagged and quoted for your review. We also note any recommendations for improvements we identify that may be causing inadequate water coverage.

    • Step 3: Control System Configuration and Reporting

Lastly, we review every setting on your irrigation controller to ensure they are accurate and optimized for your lawn and garden. We program your controller with appropriate run times for each zone, ensure your watering schedule is CRD compliant, and confirm your controller is functioning properly.

We then send you a detailed report outlining the operational status of each zone, noting any issues that were fixed or still need to be resolved. We also document your controller settings and label each zone clearly, so you know which areas each zone controls.
